okay, so it was saturday... had a tidy up in the boot, moved the battery and found....... took most of the morning, but sorted now.....

 i know this has been covered a few times but..... i've put the heated seats from a 2.5 into my mk1,  i have the wiring still connected to the seat bottoms but that's it. according to the sparky at work i just need to buy new switches, any kind, take a live feed and an earth and connect to the seats.  sounds too ...
