Nick,
I can recommend http://www.autodent-services.co.uk/. Dave is an excellent guy who really knows his stuff. Not the cheapest but it's not worth cutting corners if you want to keep the car for a few years. Have a look at my previous post on the subject: http://www.mx5oc.co.uk/forum/forums/t/43077.aspx. He's now done both of ...

Well yesterday (Sunday) but pretty close....
Went for a blast around the local lanes and ended up parked next to a twin in a local pub car park. Two of the remaining 300(ish) Gleneagles together...

Now there's some food for thought !! Liking the two-tone look very much.
I think i'm going to have to go down the re-trim route as I don't seem to be able to source a good drivers tan seat.
All the re-trims do seem VERY expensive though.

Not quite two years ago I brought my neglected 1996 Mk1 Gleneagles with the intention of restoring it to it's former glory. It was fairly low mileage, 67K, but the hood, seats and paintwork were tatty and the sills had rotted through.

Hi Reg,
It wasn't cheap, £360 plus the £80ish for the panel. Having said that the guy who did the work took a great deal of time and effort to remove as much ...

Had the nearside sill replaced, properly this time! Probably have to have the offside replaced in a year or so.

Hi Bruce60,
The lacquer on the armrest of my Gleneagles blistered quite badly and started to peel off. I removed the remaing film, rubbed down the surface very lightly with wet and dry and used a can of spray clear lacquer to re-coat it. Suprisingly after 4 or so coats the finsh is pretty much like the original! Looking at what was left after I ...

Ken,
A big vote of thanks for organising this superb run and for placing the order for fine weather!
This was the first Fish & Chip run that Trish & I have joined, it was fantastic. The route from West Stow to Southwold was so good that we used it on the way home too.
Looking forward to joining again next year.

I'm aiming to get to West Stow between 10:00 - 10:30. Looking forward to a good day, it looks as the weather will be dry but chilly

I'm definitely planning to head for the West Stow meeting point and will look forward to the run up to Southwold.
Hopefully I'll see some more ER members there.
