Someone queueing to turn towards Hartley Witney, with the roof down at 5pm or so today. Good lad. Anyone here?

Hi,
In the recent cold weather, when my engine is cold, I'm finding that at idle, the revs will drop very low, and very often the revs just drop to 0 and I need to restart the car. This can happen when in neutral or when I've got the cluch depressed when in gear. I find I need to keep the throttle on in order to keep the engine ...

If you're planning on keeping your 5 for a long time, and you use it in winter, then it's definitely worth doing.

Failing that, what other uprated pads are out there that will fit the Sport ...

Anyone got an idea as to the best product to remove it? I was thinking white spirit, but not sure if that'd just spread it around and/or remove the ...

I've just had my very rusty sills on my 2003 Mk2.5 repaired by a company called Aquila, located near Wokingham. The guy there, Ian, did an excellent job. New sills were fabricated and welded in, and then paint matched to the car. The sills now look perfect again, and the repair is invisible. Cost was £300 all-in for ...

Not much info on here about the Dunlop SP Sport Maxx RT. I got a set for my Mk2.5 Sport. I have to say - they're absolutely brilliant in the wet. There is a very definite improvement in Wet grip compared to the Toyo T1-Rs that I had on before. Previously in the Toyos, a wet roundabout would mean understeer if you turned sharply - but ...

Purps, how much did they charge for sorting the sills?

Probably the best and most experienced in the country for MP62 installs will be Phil at Performance5 in Middlesex
