 Years ago I had a tyre grow a large lump on the tread, they were'nt retreads. It appeared it had delaminated, allowing air into the outer layer and inflating it beyond the bracing plies.  I have known an HGV develop flat spots due to standing still for days but they recovered when warmed up in a few miles.

 First chance to do some work on the car, sun out ! Half way through stripping job down and it's hissing down (obliged to work outside due to tight garage). No comment . Beyond cursing level.

 Removed nearside front wing liner and removed engine tray fasteners on that side, snapped all but one bolts, intending to check the engine rails for corrosion--- now it's raining , not enough room in the garage so I'm sitting here hoping it will stop raining.

 I had one made up by an upholsterer with velcro fasteners.

 A drop of washing up liquid on the fanbelt/pullies would quieten it to indicate if that is the source of the squeal.

I find it's older chav's cars that have fitted these bulbs into lamps that were not designed to take them.

I snowed my car on different occasions then hosed it off to find nothing had happened, the car was just as dirty as before I started.
