• Re: Intake grille

Mine came from MX5parts and I've been very happy with it. It came with all the necessary bits and good instructions.

That fire in Stokes Croft ... that was probably down to urban foxes. They move in from the country, try to imitate our sophisticated city ways but just don't have the necessary skills. Failure to read the operating instructions on a gas heater would be my guess.

  • Re: Magnecor Electrosport 80 Ignition Leads or MX5Parts 8mm leads?

Rather ill-mannered to reply to one's own post, I know, but I had this advice from Moss; Hi Bruce   We had some complaints about not being able to remove the leads for spark plug replacement and this is what Jackson Racing provided. So I think it is just for ease of removal.     Kind Regards,   Adam ...

I was tidying up after fitting the Jackson Racing leads, and I found in the box a small sachet of what appears to be transparent colourless grease or petroleum jelly. There are no instructions, just warnings not to swallow it or set fire to it. I've never used grease on HT terminals in the past; should I do so now?

They look fine to me, as does the rest of the JR gear. I'll have to start saving up!

  • Re: Magnecor Electrosport 80 Ignition Leads or MX5Parts 8mm leads?

Looking good, Doc. Did you find the JR leads a bit on the long side? I'm now thinking that it could be time to sex up the windscreen washers with a bit of this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sport-Silicone-Windscreen-Washer-Hose-Jet-Tube-Pipe-/190714859898?pt=UK_Hand_Tools_Equipment&var=&hash=item2c677dd17a Does anyone know ...
don't discount these: http://www.moss-europe.co.uk/Shop/ViewProducts.aspx?PlateIndexID=4702
I've just fitted a set of these in response to a slight misfire. Definitely smoother idle, although I can't honestly say I can notice a change in performance, other than curing the misfire of ...
