yep this seems to be a common fault. Those grommets just dont like being disturbed. New replacements and some sealant around them is your best bet.
Annoying but at least its a cheap fix

Congrats on the power boost! Did you sample botht he GT and Super Sport options before choosing? Can you give a bit more detail on how the car has changed? E.g low down, top end, throttle response etc.

Im pretty sure this is the first time they've done this shade although the Kendo wheels look similar. Is there a lot of damage? Wonder if there are just painted or actually power coated giving a much tougher finish

I would simply reject the car. Its so soon after buying it and I'm certain with buying a used Mazda from a dealer you can within a month simply 'change your mind' no issues and well this has a 'small' issue!
There's plenty of cars on the market for that money so you should be able to get another sharpish

Seems like dealers have no idea about the model as yet. However, spoke to Mazda UK and its being launched 1st July. Available in the usual 1.8 SE Soft Top and 2.0 RC. Very little info on spec other than it will be in unique colours and have a stone interior. Strange how the broker sites already have the model listed as well as discounts quoted but ...
