Sadly I think that's what it's goin to have to be.
After the last test drive the salesman suggested I could drive across country to work and thus avoid the A14 and noise. Not sure I want one enough to double my journey time.

From the photo it looks as though the lacquer is peeling.
As for paint colour, in the drivers door frame there should be a sticker with info including paint code.
