Alan,  I've had this.  I think I remember another post about it and it being explained that moderators can view PMs.  Ray
Is this the one by any chance? http://www.mx5oc.co.uk/forum/forums/p/39497/278877.aspx#278877

  • Re: Symbol on mobile phone.

Definitely voicemail, dial 901 on O2 to access it. Listen to it or them and press 3 to delete after each one, the symbol should disappear. Chris

  • Re: Anyone Camping? alternative site question

Hi I haven't stayed at Whittlebury Park but I have stayed here for the Moto GP weekend last year. http://www.silverstonecampsites.co.uk/ The site is basically a field with fresh water and no electric but campers have full use of the Clubhouse facilities, toilets etc are open all night. We were in a caravan but found the site and ...

  • Re: not quite new, but opinions sought, please: MK1 R-reg 60k mileage...
Roof is clearly an 'ideal' not a must.... but are there thoughts out there re mk2 glass rear window or have I just offended every mk1 owner?!
You won't offend any owners with choice of hood, it all comes down to cost and need. Personally I've replaced my original 1998 hood this ...

  • Re: not quite new, but opinions sought, please: MK1 R-reg 60k mileage...

Without further info on the car its difficult to say whether the expense is worth it but generally speaking I would have thought a 60k mileage 1998 Mk1 would be worth far more than the expense you are looking at here. 1) New hood £200-£300 depending on what you want 2) Don't know the cost of this but a few £100's ...

  • Re: Mx5City bodywork repairs - your experience

When I bought my first and only MX5 in 2010 it needed a work to the front wing and repairs to the sill and wheel arch on the drivers side. I too was impressed with the set up at MX5city and having discussed possibilities with Martin had a new front wing and half panel fitted at the rear, no complaints from me 2 years on.

  • Re: Berkeley
In your view, please, does the absence of (original?) wood trim devalue a Berkeley?
From my (limited) experience there are few Berkeley's about with original wood trim in good condition, everyone I have seen in the flesh or pictures of "for sale" ,bar one, have the ...

  • Re: Nooooooo.......its broken!!

OK now I seem to have done a silly thing. Got a replacement pulley a went to fit it yesterday, when I started the key was present and correct in the crankshaft and I test fitted the pulley to make sure everything was ok before I prepared the bolt with Locktite etc, all ok. When I went for the final fit no key!! I assumed I had dislodged ...
