For a few years now I've been trying to make "bluey" as mechanically reliable as possible, I've wanted to try track days but never had the courage. Bluey's had countless parts replaced and is starting to be related to Trigger's broom. And whilst I like to do as much as I can myself, she's fairly regularly seen the ...

Thanks for organising that Teri, t'was interesting! Just need to avoid the temptation of breaking into the piggy bank and having bluey's engine rebuilt...
Also, who has the "Akina Speedstars" sticker? Genius.

Cheers again for sorting Bluey's gearbox! She runs FAR smoother and I can actually get first gear.

I'm heading down and looking forward to it!

Someday I may make it to another monthly meet / run!

I'd like to add myself as another car to the list, we'll meet you folks at the Cannock point. :)

I had the car booked in today with Broadspeed at quite short notice, with a self-diagnosed dead IAC. Chris diagnosed the problem however to be a horrendously dirty throttle body and quickly sorted it whilst I was pottering around Stafford.
Another excellent job and bluey is back to driving wonderfully. I'd highly recommend ...

Sorry to be a pest, but I've tried the trick and sure enough, correct idling when bypassing the sensor thingamy.
In order to replace the part, do you have to remove the throttle body? What parts will I need?
Many thanks (and apologies!)

Sounds awesome except, as per usual it seems, it's on a school day :( Track days just don't seem to exist in school holidays.
